Post Welcome To British Speedway Turbo Sliders
Welcome to British Speedway Sliders, the home of fantastic online racing with a very welcoming community.

This game is played by hundreds of enthusiastic speedway fans the length and breadth of the Country, with the inclusion of riders from Europe & Australia - it makes for a very entertaining game.

Exciting times are ahead as we plan for our 11th full season of the game - with S10 being won by a dominant Exeter Storm, led by 2-times World Champion Craig.

We have a full league program every year which you are always welcome to partake in, this year, like the last, we will be seeing the league move to the winter months, so watch out for announcements on how to sign up.

We recommend that new visitors go to the 'Guide' section where it will walk you through how you download and access the game

"I have now have the game Installed and I'm ready to play, where do I go from here?"

Once you are ready to play the game, it's recommended to sign up to the Pool Academy.
The academy welcomes all new members to our community and gives you regular weekly racing against all other beginners and retired league riders. You can think of this as the beginners stage. You may find yourself being in the pool for a number of months. During these months, the aim is to improve, be punctual by turning up to matches on time and mainly enjoy your BSS experience. If you're lucky and show committment, you may even be asked by a League Team Captain to either guest for them in a league match or even sign for the team.
In this part of the forum, you will also see threads where matches have been arranged for the pool. Check the latest thread to see if the fixtured match is suitable for you to sign up for. Remember, you are always welcome no matter how excellent you are!!

The Pool Organisers are Essex Maverick, Hobnob, Fatal Error, & Stephen. If you have any questions about the pool or any general enquiries about getting started, then these are the people to speak to.

Ok, now you've signed up for the pool, you have got the beating of the computer drones, you may now want to take part in some general fun servers. This is where you can practice as much as you want and get to race whoever is online. These could be other newbies, very experienced lads, or even World Champions! To enter a server, please make sure firstly, that your in-game name is the same as your forum name, so you can be easily identified. Once you've done this, come back to the forum and go to the Servers/IPs section. Usually its the most recently updated thread that has the IP of someone who is currently running a server. Check the most recent post in the thread to see if the Server is open. If it is, then ctrl+c the IP and then ctrl+v into the Network part on your game, then click connect! (Pictorial help is given in the user manual if needed).

Please make yourself familiar with the server etiquette before entering a server. This community is full of members who like to respect each other on and off the track. You are always welcome in servers but please abide by the general rules and make it a pleasant place for all members to enjoy their racing.

This is pretty much the basics for what you may want to know when starting out with us, British Speedway Sliders. Any other questions can be aimed at the Committee or Pool Academy Organisers. But most of all, feel free to ask any member of the community any questions you may have, and they will always be willing to help you out and welcome you with open arms, as they once were, themselves.

We hope you enjoy your time here on the site and have a great experience.
